Terms of Service
Last updated April 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Wishlist at wishlist.noobventure.com you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Wishlist is
Wishlist is a hosted wishlist app developed and operated by NoobVenture. You can create wishlists, add items from anywhere on the web, and share them by link with friends and family for gift-giving occasions or keep them private. The service is provided as-is from our servers — you do not need to host anything yourself.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You may not share your account credentials with others.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Wishlist to:
- Save or share content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' wishlists or our infrastructure.
- Interfere with the operation of the service (automated abuse, denial-of-service attempts, spam).
- Mass-reserve items on a shared wishlist with the intent to harass the owner.
- Reverse-engineer or extract the application source for purposes that violate these terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
5. Your content and data
You retain full ownership of the wishlists, items, descriptions, and other content you create in Wishlist. By uploading content you grant NoobVenture the limited right to store and serve it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you save (including product images and descriptions copied from other sites) and that it does not violate any applicable laws.
6. Reservations on shared wishlists
When you publicly share a wishlist by link, anyone with that link can mark items as reserved (claimed for gifting). You can switch the wishlist back to private at any time, which immediately stops further reservations. You can also delete the wishlist or regenerate its share link, both of which invalidate existing reservations.
By default, the owner of a wishlist does not see who reserved which items, to preserve the surprise. You can opt in to seeing reservations from the wishlist settings (e.g. for a registry).
7. Intellectual property
The Wishlist application, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of NoobVenture and is protected by copyright law. © 2026 NoobVenture. All rights reserved.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of Wishlist without explicit written permission from NoobVenture.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Wishlist is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. NoobVenture does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss. You use the service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoobVenture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Wishlist — including loss of data, missed gifts, or duplicate purchases.
10. Changes to the service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Wishlist or any of its features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. The “last updated” date will reflect any changes. Continued use of Wishlist after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
